At The Air Show
I got the honor of shooting a second time with Ashton Allen. We took photos many years before when I was just starting out as a fashion photographer. Our first shoot was in a backyard, with overgrown hedges and random woodland creatures running around (possibly with rabies). When she called me up to do a shoot at the Columbus Airshow my brain started being over run with ideas. This is my second photoshoot on the airport-The first was several years ago with SV Magazine, and it was pretty hectic. This time around we had so many assistants that it was almost like working with my own crew of 50 people! I had Jessica beside me for the makeup changes and hairstyles, Ashton’s family and boyfriend where there to hold her outfits, and the pilots where wonderful with being props and showing us around. The Red Vase www.theredvaseboutique.com provided the wardrobe!

MORE EDITORIAL WORK: TIMELESS BEAUTY
Here are some more editorial photos. For Timeless Beauty, we featured salons in Columbus Ga. and used selected models from the area. It was alot of work because every salon had a major photoshoot for each model but the spread was a success!
Kimberly Jean de Vincentis
is one of my favorite personalities to work with. She always brings humor to the shoots and never has a bad shot. We selected this image because it captures her sparkling personality as well as her flawless skin.
Jaima Dewey
Has modeled for the magazine several times. Her height, distinctive look and professional modeling experience makes each shoot smooth and high scale.
Leslie Pinckard
Is all over the map! She models from everything from fitness magazines to fashion editorials. She is very talented and her photos always are proof of that.
STARR LUNA
We did an awesome shoot for Starr Luna Vintage T-shirts for our Spring Issue. Our models where Melanie Cols of Columbus High School and Jennifer Vatral from CSU.. www.starrluna.com
VERMILLION CONTINUED
Vermillion Photoshoot
Today was perhaps the most entertaining experience I’ve had in a while! Me and Jess usually throw photoshoot parties twice a year, but this time It took off into two massive themed shoots that are beyond my expectations. Me and Jessica had been floating around the idea of a mannequin themed window shoot, but when Lisa Maxi of Vermillion came up with the idea to do a shoot with Red Heads in her store we got the opportunity to put it together. Of course it turned into a massive photoshoot party with Ginger parents, teens, and kids smiling big for the cameras; Lisa was the perfect host! Interesting experience and although I was rushing to make sure I got everyone, I had a chance to enjoy the awesome personalities gathered under one roof.
Next was the fashion shoot. It was team work at it’s best. Jessica M. of Williams Salon used her amazing makeup skills to match Lisa’s wonderful assortment of rare and hard to find fashions. When we went into the store to look at possible outfits, we became instantly over inspired! Oddly, weeks before the shoot we had been wondering where we could find slightly vintage dresses that had a contemporary twist.
Special thanks to everyone that helped, Jeff and Ashley from J.Gilbert Photography for documenting. More photos soon!
